Okay, here’s the thing.
I don’t know why exactly, but I just don’t want to write Under a Raging Moon, Piper’s story. I really can’t be sure why this is at this point. Honestly, this is a story idea that I had for a long time, and I really liked it, and I wanted to write it very badly, but for some reason, every time that I sit down to work on it, I don’t… feel it.
I had announced that I would get the book out in May. That’s not going to happen. It’s on an indefinite hiatus. I don’t know when I’ll return to this book.
What I’d like to do is to focus on some short fiction–a serial or something. Something that I could do slowly and that wouldn’t be as much work.
This probably means that the next Helicon book is also getting pushed back indefinitely as well.
I’m sorry.
I’m doing this only because right now I’m pregnant, and I’m not myself anymore, and I just can’t do the things I used to be able to do.
Again, my apologies.
