Tomorrow, I have to go back to work, which I don’t want to do. Every year, it seems like my summer gets shorter. There was so much I wanted to accomplish this summer. I feel like I barely got anything done. Sure, I guess I wrote the full draft of a novel, but I wanted to have it revised by now. In fact, I had promised myself that I’d spend today, the last day of my summer vacation, revising Stillness.
Sorry folks. Ain’t gonna happen.
Today, I have decided, is a good day for an X-Files marathon.
Those of us who are going back to world of schools, whether you are teachers like me or students, will all emerge in a week or two, back into our routines. Until then, happy end of summer, all. 🙂
