Requiem for the Fallen
I’m really excited to recommend this short novel from a writer friend. This is her first book, and I’ve had the chance to read it, and it is fantastic.
It’s a novella, it’s a rocker romance, and you need to read it!
Tabitha Vohn has a gift for writing lush, evocative description that’s sensuous and beautiful. This is a really aching, intense love story with layers of philosophy beneath it and pinches of religion.
Yes, it’s about a Christian girl who falls for a Satanic rock star. And if that doesn’t make you want to read it, I don’t know what will.
(Note: This book is far more respectful towards faith than my own books are. However, it’s also not preachy in any way, shape, or form. Just awesomesauce.)
